Congress disapproves China's comment on Antony's visit to Arunachal
New Delhi, Feb 26 (ANI): Reacting to China's objection over visit of Defence Minister A. K. Antony to Arunachal Pradesh, Congress on Sunday said Arunachal Pradesh is integral part of India.
Congress Party spokesperson Rashid Alvi said no other country should interfere in the internal matters of other country.
"Arunachal Pradesh is inseparable part of India. Arunachal Pradesh is part and parcel of India as many other states are. No country should interfere in the internal matters of other country," Alvi told ANI in New Delhi.
According to certain media reports, China has objected to AK Antony's recent visit to Arunachal Pradesh, which Beijing claims to be its own. China has also askedndia to refrain from taking any action that could complicate the border issue.
Antony had, however, during his visit to Arunachal Pradesh emphatically said that this strategically located state is an integral part of India, and added there is nothing to fear about its security. (ANI)
