J Dey murder case: Journalist Jigna Vora booked

Mumbai, Feb.21 (ANI): The Mumbai Police on Tuesday filed a supplementary chargesheet against woman journalist Jigna Vora in connection with last year's murder of senior scribe J Dey.

Dey, who used to cover the underworld for a leading Mumbai daily, was shot dead on June 11, 2011.

Jigna has been booked under various Sections of IPC, including murder, criminal conspiracy and destruction of evidence, besides stringent provisions of Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) and the Arms Act.

The special MCOCA court took cognisance of the chargesheet and extended the custody of all accused till March 12.

Jigna has been shown as the 11th accused in the case. (ANI)
