QPR's co-owner Amit Bhatia demands video replays

London, Jan 30(ANI): Queensland Park Ranger's co-owner and vice-chairman Amit Bhatia has called for video replays in football following Daniel Sturridge's antics inside the penalty area which allowed Chelsea to win their FA Cup fourth-round tie 1-0 at Loftus Road.

Sturridge's blown up stumble in the penalty tricked referee Mike Dean into awarding a penalty, which Juan Mata conveniently converted.

After the match Bhatia used his Twitter account to express his emotions.

"We have to have some kind of video replay system so that harsh decisions can be reviewed. I can think of a few decisions that have cost us points", Bhatia tweeted.

"Mistakes are made because decisions are difficult. Why not allow those difficult decisions to be reviewed? One challenge per half per manager wouldn't slow the game any more than 30 seconds," The Sun quoted Bhatia, as saying.

"Every fan and player in the land would appreciate a fair review of a difficult decision. It's not rocket science,' he added. (ANI)
