New York, Jan 15 (ANI): Media mogul Oprah Winfrey is apparently all set to add Chaz Bono's gender bending documentary to her new OWN network lineup.
"Becoming Chaz," the Fenton Bailey/Randy Barbato film tracing the physical and emotional transformation of Sonny and Cher's daughter Chastity into a boy named Chaz, will make its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on Jan. 23.
According to Deadline.com, Winfrey 's OWN network is likely to formally announce that it has acquired the project after the screening, reporting the New York Daily News.
"Becoming Chaz" is the latest in a string of documentaries OWN has bought. Among the ones with high-profile subjects is "Finding Sarah" about Sarah Ferguson's life. (ANI)
