Goldie Hawn's ex-hubby to publish devastating tell-all book about her

New York, Thu, 13 Jan 2011 ANI

New York, Jan 13 (ANI): Actress Goldie Hawn's former husband Bill Hudson is set to publish a devastating tell-all book on her that will reveal her private life and their "open marriage".

Hudson, 61, who is the father of actress Kate Hudson, wrote the book titled 'So You Are a Star', and in it he describes Hawn, 65, as "a movie star who enjoyed having 'open relationships' and limiting access to their children".

The musician, who divorced Hawn in 1979, has remained estranged from his children Kate and Oliver, who were raised by his ex-wife and her long-time partner, actor Kurt Russell.

"Kate and Goldie have said things about me to the press that are untrue, that I abandoned my family. I tried to stay in contact with my children, but Goldie made it impossible," the New York Post quoted him as saying.

"Kate has used the story of her being abandoned by me because she needed tragedy in her life. She grew up privileged in Hollywood with private planes.

"Nobody was going to sympathize unless she had some tragedy," he stated.

In the book he wrote that after he met Hawn in 1975, they once made love for 12 hours until she confessed she was seeing another man.

"You're my soul mate . . . it's just that I've always believed in open marriage," he described her as telling him.

Diane Nine, Hudson's agent, said, that he hopes the book will bring him closer to his children.

"We are meeting with publishers next week. But the proposal is quite explosive. What he really wants is a relationship with his children and he hopes this will help," she added. (ANI)
