London, Jan 3(ANI): FIFA President Sepp Blatter has revealed that FIFA is set to form an anti-corruption body aimed at improving the image of football's governing body.
Blatter's plans follow a difficult year for FIFA, which saw allegations of corruption over 2018 and 2022 World Cup hosting votes.
"This committee will strengthen our credibility and give us a new image in terms of transparency," the Daily Mail quoted Blatter, as saying.
"I will take care of it personally, to ensure there is no corruption at FIFA," he added.
The committee will reportedly consist of up to nine members from both the world of sport and beyond.
It is believed that Blatter will not be among the committee members himself. (ANI)
