Wenger takes dig at Nani's 'intelligence' for writing off Arsenal's championship chances

London , Fri, 24 Dec 2010 ANI

London, Dec 24(ANI): Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has hit back at Manchester United winger Nani for claiming that the Gunners are already out of this season's Premier League title race.

Nani believes that only Manchester United and Chelsea can still win the league, but Wenger believes that such a definitive assessment is premature.

"Everybody has a different opinion in this league and nobody is a prophet. We live a society where everybody knows everything and it looks like it's a shame to say 'I don't know'," the Sun quoted Wenger, as saying.

"I don't know who will win the league. I managed 1,600 games so if Nani knows he must be 1,600 times more intelligent than I am," he added.

Arsenal is currently second in the points table, only two points behind championship leaders United. (ANI)
