Melbourne, Dec 24(ANI): England captain Andrew Strauss insists that his team will attack and go all out to defeat Australia in the final two Tests of the ongoing Ashes series.
Strauss said that there will be no playing safe from an England side, who may have been thrashed in the third Test, but have now regrouped and vowed to come back stronger.
When asked whether he would take a drawn series, which would mean England retained the Ashes, Strauss said: "No. We've got two Test matches to go and we want to win them both. We're going for the outright win, absolutely."
"The majority of Test matches aren't drawn, so there are going to be results in these last two games and we want to make them positive," he added.
The Boxing Day Test will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, while the New Year Test will be held in Sydney.
No England team has managed to win both, and the last time any team did was when India triumphed in 1977-78. (ANI)
