London, Dec 20 (ANI): Troubled star Lindsay Lohan's father has confirmed that the 24-year-old has been shifted to a new rehabilitation centre, amid fears over her security.
The 'Mean Girls' star, who has been receiving treatment at California's Betty Ford since October, is rumoured to have left the facility after she started receiving strange phone calls from suspected stalkers, including Britney Spears' former manager Sam Lutfi, reports The Daily Express.
Lohan has been ordered by court to complete three months of treatment for violating her probation stemming from a driving under the influence arrest.
However, Lohan's father Michael dismissed the reports that Lutfi was the reason for the move, insisting that it was the 'involvement of two other individuals' that led to the switch.
"When I heard that Sam texted Lindsay I told him to stop immediately. But Sam is not the reason Lindsay was moved. It was two other individuals that caused her to move for her safety," he said. (ANI)
