Melbourne, Dec 13 (ANI): Cricket legend Shane Warne has flown back to Melbourne as rumours accusing the Australian and actress Liz Hurley of being secret lovers fuel up.

Allegations of a steamy affair surfaced when they were caught on film in a succession of passionate public embraces in London, UK newspaper News of the World revealed, reports News.com.au.

Hurley, who is married to Indian tycoon Arun Nayar, allegedly spent two nights with the former Test spinner at his hotel suite last week.

The model has however revealed on Twitter that she is separated from her husband.

Hurley and Warne were spotted in lingering kisses after leaving the flashy digs Warne was using while filming his TV talk show.

"They were so passionate they looked like honeymooners," one witness told News of the World.

The paper reported they were locked away in the suite - at the Bentley Hotel in South Kensington - for more than 11 hours.

Warne and his apparent new love - whom he met at the Goodwood races in Sussex in July - flirted openly in front of Hurley's former fiance, Hugh Grant, during dinner.

But ex-wife Simone Callahan remained tight-lipped yesterday after news of the scandal broke.

"I don't want to talk right now, thank you," she said at her Brighton home near Melbourne.

Warne too declined to comment last night after flying back into Melbourne about 7.15pm.

After clearing Customs, he left in a car without saying a word, before driving to the Brighton home where his children greeted him at the door. (ANI)
