North India reels under severe cold wave

New Delhi, Dec 7 (ANI): An intense cold wave continues to grip north India with several regions facing extremely low temperatures.

 

The temperature in New Delhi plunged to 7.9 degree Celsius this morning.

 

In Haryana, the minimum temperature at Hissar dipped to 3.2 degrees Celsius, which is three notches below normal range.

 

According to the Met Department, Narnaul also shivered at a low of four degree Celsius,

 

Ambala at 5.4 degree Celsius and Bhiwani settled at 6.4 degree Celsius. Rohtak and Karnal recorded a minimum of 6 degree Celsius each.

 

In Punjab, intense cold gripped Ludhiana, which recorded a minimum temperature of 4.4 degree Celsius.

 

Amritsar recorded a low of 5.4 degree Celsius while the minimum in Patiala was five degree Celsius. (ANI)
