Melbourne, Nov 25 (ANI): After crashing Taylor Swift 's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA), Kanye West has taken a second swipe at her, accusing the singer of riding the waves of fame.
"Taylor never came to my defense at any interview," West told the crowd at a New York City concert, Us Weekly reported.
"And (she) rode the waves and rode it and rode it," he added about the Speak Now singer," News.com.au quoted him as adding.
West's comments during his concert at Manhattan's Bowery Ballroom came after he and Swift publicly made-up at the 2010 VMA ceremony in September.
"She had nothing to do with my issues with award shows," he wrote via Twitter after the 2010 show - addressing his antics at the Sept. 13, 2009 ceremony when he interrupted Swift's acceptance speech for the Best Female Video award.
"She had no idea what hit her. She's justa lil girl with dreams like the rest of us. She deserves the apology more than anyone," West tweeted about when he grabbed the microphone from Swift and declared that Beyonce should have won the award for her video Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).
In return, Swift offered an olive branch to West through the lyrics of her song Innocent-which she performed at the 2010 ceremony.
"Thirty-two and still growing up now; who you are is not what you did," Swift sang. West was 32 at last year's show.
"Lost your balance on the tight rope, it's never too late to get it back ... today is never too late to be brand new," the song continued. (ANI)
