Washington, Nov 23 (ANI): Angelina Jolie has said that she doesn't want anyone to be put off by her film by making it too heavy.
The debuting director talked about shooting her untitled Bosnian war epic, which follows a romance between a Muslim woman and Serbian man.
"The important thing is I want to make sure that we make a film for people who just want to go to the movies to watch a love story. To not be put off by anything that seems too heavy," USmagazine quoted her as telling Hungarian-language site Vasarnapi Hirek.
"We want to walk that fine line to make it accessible to everybody because it's important for as many people to see it," she added.
Jolie shot the movie twice, she said, once in English, once in the native language of the mostly-Eastern European actors.
"We shot two complete films. I was only able to do it because the actors were so fluent in English so they were willing to work hard and do the scenes in two languages," she said.
Jolie is even thinking about transferring the film to black and white but hasn't decided anything for sure yet. (ANI)
