|UK man joins Abhishek, Deepika in 'Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey'|Entertainment[London{London, Nov 16 (ANI): A man, originally from West Yorkshire, has landed a major role in a new Bollywood movie.

Jan Bostock moved to India six years ago and was approached by a Bollywood film director who was looking for English people to be extras in his new movie 'Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey', reports the BBC.

The film is based on the Chittagong Uprising, a little-known chapter of history that took place in British-ruled India in 1930.

Bostock ended up being a star villain in the film, which was shot in Mumbai and Goa and stars Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone.

"I was to be shot and killed in the first scene as the revolution begins. After a couple of days on set, and having got my own caravan, I thought how well they treated their extras. I thought that was nice," said Bostock.

"I mentioned this to the director, Ashutosh Govarker, over dinner and he replied: 'You're not an extra, you're the key villain.'

"That really shocked me. Some of India's biggest stars are in the film," he added.

Bostock's only previous acting experience was in a school play at Nab Wood Grammar School.

The film is due to be released worldwide on 3 December. (ANI)
