London, Nov 05 (ANI): English footballer Ashley Cole was caught in a scuffle as he left a club with two short-skirted WAG wannabes.
As pals screamed at onlookers outside London's trendy Alto club in Soho, Cole, 29, was seen leaving with the two girls, who as soon as they realised they had been spotted, tried to rush off, covering their faces.
Cole stayed behind and an angry mob of pals launched a salvo of abuse at waiting photographers, with some having to be pulled back by bouncers during the heated exchanges.
It was only when a passing police car turned up that things cooled down.
"Ashley wasn't involved in any of the real rowing. He tried to distance himself from it by moving away and talking on his mobile phone," the Daily Star quoted an onlooker as saying.
"But interest peaked when he first emerged with the two girls. They wore tight, short skirts and had that typical WAG look about them. They dashed off as soon as they realised they'd been clocked," the onlooker added. (ANI)
