Perth (Australia), Nov.3 (ANI) England need only a draw to retain the Ashes after winning last year's series 2-1, but Andrew Strauss's team does not seem interested in such a possibility.
With Australia ripe for the picking after slipping to fifth on the Test rankings, England wicketkeeper Matt Prior declared the tourists would only be satisfied with a winning summer.
"I think it's a dangerous thing to go into a series looking to draw. It's certainly not the attitude we've come with. We want to win this series and win it well," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted wicketkeeper Matt Prior, as saying.
England, Prior said, is also eyeing a win in the November 5-7 warm-up clash with Western Australia at the WACA Ground.
"It's a first-class game and we'll take that game very seriously," he said.
"Winning is a habit and the quicker you can get into that habit the better." (ANI)
