Brand, Perry's Indian jungle wedding 'to be raided if it disturbs wildlife'

London, Sat, 23 Oct 2010 ANI

London, Oct 23 (ANI): Authorities are making sure that Russell Brand and Katy Perry's Indian jungle wedding does not disturb the animals.

Police have threatened to raid the couple's wedding if 'things get out of hand', as authorities attempt to stop the festivities scaring tigers.

Armed officers say they will also close down the three-day nuptials, due to begin today, if there is any raucous behaviour, fireworks or if music goes on beyond 10pm.

Rapper P Diddy is expected to perform to the 85 guests at the event being held at the 600 pounds-a-night resort at the Ranthambore National Park, a famous tiger reserve which is also home to leopards, wild boars, hyenas and sloth bears.

Jonathan Ross, R and B singer Rihanna and Little Britain star David Walliams are among guests at the wedding, which will also include elephants, dancers and snake charmers.

"We cannot allow anything to disturb the wildlife," the Daily Mail quoted Sawaimadhopur district police chief Vishnu Kant as saying,

"We will be very vigilant and take strict action if that becomes necessary. We will not hesitate to stop the wedding if the laws are not obeyed. We would not allow playing of musical instruments and blaring loudspeakers after 10pm and things must not get out of hand before then," Kant added. (ANI)
