London, Oct 18 (ANI): 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor Johnny Depp spent 40,000 pounds on jackets for the shivering crew on his new pirate movie.
Depp, 47, is currently filming the Pirates of the Caribbean's fourth series at Pinewood Studios, Bucks, which has been hit by the biting cold crack.
"Johnny paid out of his own pocket for all 500 of us to have a nice warm waterproof," the Sun quoted a crew member as saying.
"It's a great morale boost and another example of why he is one of the nicest people in Hollywood," he added.
Depp - who plays Captain Jack Sparrow in the movie, spent 80 pounds on each of the waterproof hiking jackets. (ANI)
