Melbourne, Oct 15 (ANI): Many hotels would stay clear of a sewer pipe for its view but not The Park Hotel in Ottensheim, Austria, which is built inside giant sewer pipes.
Some believe the idea to be sensational while others went to the lengths of calling the hotel's five-star rooms can as flush.
"The only drawback is that, ironically, there's no shower or loo and you have to go to a different pipe for the shared bathroom," the Daily Telegraph quoted a guest as saying.
Another guest seemed entirely happy and said that they're surprisingly cosy with a nice snug bed and good storage.
"We think people like the idea of something new. We try to keep things as private as possible. Guests book online and are given a pin that opens the room door but only on the day they've booked," said a spokesperson for the hotel.
The concept is not new and has idea come from Austrian Andreas Strauss who in 2004 provided the first sewage pipe rooms in Linz. (ANI)
