New Delhi , Thu, 07 Oct 2010 ANI

New Delhi, Oct 7 (ANI): Yoga guru Ramdev has said that people involved in corruption in organising the Commonwealth Games should not be spared as they brought bad name to the country.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Ramdev said as soon as the games get over they should be brought to book.

"The way Indian players are winning medals in the on going Commonwealth Games is vey heartening and it's a matter of pride but one should not forget those who are involved in corrupt practices in organising the games. These scandals have brought bad name to India, we can never forget this," he added.

He further appreciated the Allahabad High Court verdict on the Ayodhya issue, and called upon all sections of society to leave aside the "mandir-masjid" issue and help the country move forward on the path of progress.

"We should now look forward to strengthening national unity and communal harmony as Lord Rama did not belong only to Hindus, but to all humanity," he added.

Ramdev is presently in Delhi as a part of his tour called 'Bharat Swabhiman Yatra' (National Pride March).

He said that every day hundreds and thousands of people are taking part in the Yoga camps being organised during this march. (ANI)
