London, Oct 3 (ANI): England coach Fabio Capello is worried about Premier League's top footballers lifestyle as they are struggling to cope with it.
Wayne Rooney, John Terry, Ashley Cole, Steven Gerrard and Jack Wilshere have all been caught up in off-field controversy during his spell as England manager.
"These are young men, young men with a lot of money. Some players suffer a lot with the money. I only have my players for a short time and I always try to help. But when you are a club manager it's different, you can speak every day. That's when you can help and understand," News of the World quoted Capello, as saying.
"Having money can be a problem. Often it depends on the people they have around them - their choice of friends. These problems occur every year in Italy, in Spain and around the world," he said.
"With some of the teams I've managed we have had problems, but we have been able to separate them and still won," Capello added.
Rooney has been in the spotlight since his affair with a prostitute was exposed by the News of the World. (ANI)
