Air India flight makes safe emergency landing in Kochi

Kochi, Oct 2 (ANI): An Air India 901 Kochi-Kozhikode-Riyadh flight with 197 passengers on board, made an emergency landing here today as it was diverted after a smoke alarm went off.

 

According to Airport sources, the pilot made the emergency landing after the some smoke alarm went off about 30 minutes after the flight left for Riyadh from Kozhikode airport.

 

All passengers have been shifted to a nearby hotel.

 

The cause of the smoke alarm is not yet known. (ANI)
