Melbourne, Sept.29 (ANI): Organizers of the JBWere Masters have confirmed that world No.1 Tiger Woods will defend his title in November, and rubbished rumors of him opting out.
Radio reports that Woods would not make the trip to Melbourne are " without foundation and categorically incorrect", Fox Sports quoted tournament organizers IMG, as saying in a statement on Tuesday.
"Tiger will be here to defend his title in the week of 8 -14 November," the statement said.
Woods's agent, Mark Steinberg, meanwhile said: "Nothing has changed and Tiger looks forward to returning to Melbourne in November to defend his title."
IMG announced on June 9, 2010, that Woods would defend the JBWere Masters title at The Victoria Golf Club.
"I am pleased to be able to return to Melbourne to defend the JBWere Masters," Woods said at the time. (ANI)
