London, Sep 28 (ANI): David Beckham has slapped Irma Nice, the prostitute who claims to have slept with him, with a 16-million-pound writ.
Nici, 26, first dodged Becks' legal team's bid to serve the papers by hiding in a New York hotel and then trying to flee in a black SUV.
But an official jammed it under the windscreen wiper as the vehicle was caught in traffic.
It was unclear whether that meant the writ had been successfully served - but Nici was then handed the papers in person at her lawyer's office in the city.
Becks, 35, is suing Nici and a magazine over claims he paid her for sex.
The call girl, who claimed she had a threesome with married Becks but has been unable to present any proof, left onlookers awestruck by smiling as she viewed the massive writ.
"She looked totally unfussed as she looked through the writ for the first time. She just smiled and didn't look bothered. It is yet another outrageous show from her," the Sun quoted a source as saying. (ANI)
