Lahore, Sep 28 (ANI): Test cricketer Mohammad Asif, one of the Pakistani players implicated in spot fixing, has now fixed his wedding celebrations, which will be held on September 30.
Asif, currently under provisional suspension by the International Cricket Council (ICC), is set to bring home Karachi girl Sana Hilal as his bride, The News reported.
Though his nikah with Sana was solemnised some four months ago, he had announced to bring his bride home after the cricket series against England.
His wedding preparations had also been affected by the controversies during the bitter England tour, Asif rued.
However, he added that his marriage would prove to be a turning point in his life and his bride would bring happiness for him.
Valima ceremony will be held on October 1, for which Asif has invited his friends, colleagues, former and present officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Asif is the youngest among his siblings, due to which his family members want to make the wedding ceremony a memorable one, but Asif has said that only 'one dish' would be served at his wedding parties. (ANI)
