London, Sep 26 (ANI): Incarcerated George Michael is apparently struggling to sleep properly in his cell.
Fellow inmates have been shocked by the haggard appearance of the singer.
"Everyone inside says he is looking drained and fed-up," the Daily Star quoted one visitor to Highpoint Prison in Suffolk as saying.
"Nobody likes doing time but it seems to have hit him particularly hard. He doesn't like the food and he can't sleep very well," the visitor added.
The 47-year-old star has been jailed for eight weeks for drug-driving. He was arrested when he was found slumped at the wheel of his car after it smashed into a shop in Hampstead, north London, in July.
The singer was given his own cell in the prison's good behaviour unit, sparking claims he was getting preferential treatment. (ANI)
