London, Sep 25(ANI): Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has predicted that Chelsea would "easily" retain their Premier League title.
Mancini's prediction came ahead of the their clash at Eastlands on Saturday.
"Chelsea are the best team in the Premier League at the moment. They are probably going to win the Premier League title easily," The BBC quoted Mancini, as saying.
"They are a strong team, who have been playing together for many years," he added.
Last season, City had the double over Chelsea, beating them 2-1 at Eastlands and 4-2 at Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has denied that Mancini's comments are a psychological ploy ahead of the game.
"I agree with him. It's not a mind game, I know him very well and so he knows us very well. He knows our ability," Ancelotti said.
"He's very competitive manager because he has experience, he has ability to read the game," he added. (ANI)
