London, Sept 23 (ANI): Hollywood pretty Julia Robert's latest film 'Eat Pray Love' has premiered in London.
The film is based on American writer Elizabeth Gilbert novel about her struggle to find fulfillment.
Dissatisfied with her seemingly perfect life, Gilbert - played by Roberts - ditches both her husband and her job to travel the world on a quest for self-discovery.
Her journey takes her to Italy (where she eats a lot), to India (where she prays a lot) and to Bali (where she falls in love just once).
It has been on the New York Times bestseller list for an astonishing 187 weeks.
Roberts said that adapting the bestselling book was like making the author a remarkable home video.
"We were just honoured to have the responsibility of trying to turn her so loved book into something people would enjoy just as much," Sky News quoted her as saying.
"Now she feels like she has this remarkable home movie and she thinks it's a really favourable adaptation of her experience," Roberts said.
Director Ryan Murphy insisted on filming it chronologically, because he wanted Roberts' character to grow organically.
"That was the one big demand that I had because I thought it was important for Julia and I to keep track of where we were in the journey," Murphy said. (ANI)
