Curfew relaxed in 12 police stations of Srinagar; 1 hurt in Kupwara

Srinagar, Sep. 19 (ANI): Curfew was relaxed in areas falling under at least 12 police stations of Srinagar here on Saturday, however, one person was injured in a stone pelting incident in Kupwara.

 

Authorities relaxed curfew restrictions from 12 pm to 4 pm, in areas falling under the jurisdictions of Police stations Karan Nagar,Sheed gung,Sadder,Shergari,Batmaloo,Rajbagh,Panthachowk,Nowgam,Kothibagh,Ram Munshibagh,Nishat,and Harwan of Srinagar city, a police release stated.

 

At Hari Kupwara, one person was injured in a retaliatory action after violent mob resorted to heavy stone pelting on security forces deployments. (ANI)
