Inmates 'furious' over George Michael's 'special' treatment in jail

London , Sun, 19 Sep 2010 ANI

London, Sep 19 (ANI): Singer George Michael's special treatment at his cushy new jail is apparently making inmates angry.

The former 'Wham!' star, 47, has already been given his own cell in a 'good behaviour unit' at Highpoint Prison in Stradishall, Suffolk.

"My brother was fuming. It is not fair that they treat celebrities in a special way," the Daily Star quoted Amel Sahbaz, 23, who was visiting his 28-year-old brother, as saying.

Michael has been jailed for eight weeks and lost his license for five years in the drug driving case. (ANI)
