Auckland, Sep 14(ANI): New Zealand middle distance runner Nick Willis has said that he is comfortable with the security arrangements for next month's Delhi Commonwealth Games.
The Games, starting on October 3, have been plagued by security issues, shoddy construction, corruption and a dengue fever outbreak.
However, Willis, gold medallist in the 1500m event at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, said that he has not thought about the possibility of withdrawing.
He further said that he would be surprised if the New Zealand Olympic Committee (NZOC) made the decision to pull out, The New Zealand Herald reports.
Willis also informed that he would be preparing for the Games in Hong Kong
The NZOC will make a final decision on whether to send a team to the Indian capital in the next 10 days. (ANI)
