London, Sept 12 (AN): Wayne Rooney apparently regretted after cheating on his pregnant wife with two prostitutes, it has been revealed.
The multi-millionaire footballer fought back tears as he sat on the edge of the bed in a 300-pound a-night room in Salford's exclusive five-star Lowry Hotel last July, reports the Daily Star.
The disgraced Manchester United star allegedly told the hookers: "Why the hell did I do that? I wouldn't be bothered if she was just my girlfriend. But she's my wife and she's pregnant with my kid. What am I doing?"
And 23-year-old brunette Helen also expressed remorse for having sex with the footballer saying she wished it had never happened, apologizing to Rooney's heartbroken wife Coleen.
"I'm sorry sorry for all the hurt that you've been put through. It was a mistake. I can't apologise enough. I'm sorry," she said. (ANI)
