London, Aug 28(ANI): British Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton insists that he is prepared to revive his title bid during Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix.
The 24-year-old has just returned from a break in the US, where he was with friends and girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger.
"It was the best holiday I've had. I was with friends the first week and my girlfriend the second, so I couldn't be happier," The Sun quoted Hamilton, as saying.
He further said that the McLaren team was "making small steps forward" towards the championship title.
"This track does seem to suit our car better [than in Hungary], but let's not get ahead of ourselves. If it rains then we seem to be competitive, but we have realistic expectations for this weekend," Hamilton said.
The drivers will be back in action for the first time since the race in Hungary on August 1 following Formula 1's summer break, which included an enforced two-week factory shutdown when car development was prohibited.
Hamilton currently trails championship leader Red Bull's Mark Webber by four points.
Webber is on 161 points, followed by Hamilton on 157, Red Bulls' Sebastian Vettel on 151 points and defending champion Jenson Button on 147 points. (ANI)
