London, Aug 27 (ANI): Hip-hop star Wyclef Jean has blasted Haitian officials for rejecting his campaign for office in his new song.
The star has returned to music following his failed bid to run for president of Haiti, reports the Daily Express.
Jean was ruled out of the upcoming November (10) elections in his native country after it was decided he didn't meet residency requirements.
'The Gone Till November' hitmaker is keen to appeal through Haiti's courts but reports suggest the electoral council's ruling is final and cannot be overturned.
And he's continued to blast the decision, posting a song called Prison for the CEP on his blog, referring to the commission, which rejected his run for office.
Jean also chides President Rene Preval as he sings in Creole.Previously, he recorded a song called 'If I Were President'. (ANI)
