London, Aug 20(ANI): Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has revealed that the job that would persuade him to abandon the club would be the chance to manage the Italian national team.
"You cannot say no to the national team. I would love to coach Italy one day," The Mirror quoted Mancini, as saying.
Mancini had earlier admitted that he has found it hard to settle in England, and misses life in Italy.
He further said that the Italian Football Association did not ask him to succeed Marcello Lippi after the World Cup in South Africa, but stressed that he would not turn it down if offered.
"No, the Italian FA did not contact me. So, I cannot tell you what my answer would have been. But sooner or later it will happen," Mancini said.
Manchester City had appointed Mancini halfway through last season. (ANI)
