LiLo's lawyer dismisses bipolar reports

London , Tue, 03 Aug 2010 ANI

London, Aug 03 (ANI): American singer/actress Lindsay Lohan's lawyer has dismissed reports that the singer has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder saying that the allegations are 'total fabrication'.

The 'Mean Girls' star was released from jail on 02 August (2010) after serving just 13 days of a three-month prison sentence relating to a 2007 DUI arrest.

Lohan headed to a rehab clinic as soon as she was freed, and will spend 90 days there dealing with her personal problems.

It was earlier reported that Lohan would be treated for bipolar disorder, a psychological condition that induces mood swings, and also needs help for an addiction to methamphetamine, reports The Daily Star.

But her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley is persistent that the rumours are not true.

"I have never seen any psych report concerning Ms. Lohan which references a 'bi-polar' diagnosis or an addiction to 'methamphetamine.' I think this is a total fabrication," Holley told TMZ.com. (ANI)
