Soundtrack of forthcoming Bollywood flick 'Lafengey Parindey' unveiled

Mumbai, July 20 (ANI): The soundtrack of the forthcoming Bollywood flick 'Lafengey Parindey' was unveiled at Mumbai's Yahsraj Studio by the director and star cast of the movie.

 

Produced by Aditya Chopra, the movie stars Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepika Padukone as the lead pair.

 

Director Pradeep Sarkar elucidated the title of the film, while releasing the soundtrack.

 

"It is not an abuse, it a sweet little word to say you are doing something unusual. Lafangey is a word, which means something unusual or extraordinary. So in this movie these guys are doing something unusual," said Pradeep Sarkar.

 

"Living life on their own terms and while doing so, they are actually flying. That's why Parindey (birds). That is how we got the title of the movie," he added.

 

Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh revealed that the storyline is based on the bike gangs of Mumbai and both the lead roles will be seen doing some brave stunts in the film.

 

"It's a film on one shot 'Nandu' (name of a character) and Pinki Palker (another character), one shot Nandu is a blind folded fighter whereas Pinki is a blind dancer and how one shot Nandu helps Pinky Palker to know what sound is," said Neil Nitin Mukesh.

 

"And how he teaches her to see the things, which he sees when he plays being a blind folded fighter and how they fall in love? Essentially it's a love story with a lot of thrill, action and drama, also a lot of emotions and love," he added.

 

On the occasion, actor Deepika Padukone highlighted that the movie is backed a well-structured script, which caters to audience preference.

 

"The freshness of the script, the freshness of the word in which the entire film is set in, I think that is the most exciting part," she added.
