London, July 16 (ANI): Bond legend Sir Sean Connery has been reportedly under fresh investigations into tax deals in the Costa del Sol.
A Spanish judge has called for an extensive probe into alleged monetary irregularities surrounding the Scots star and wife Micheline Roquebrune.
Officials suspect those involved in the sale of Connery's former home in Marbella of up to 2.25 million pound in tax evasion and money laundering, reports the Sun.
Investigators believe a property firm associated with Sir Sean and his wife failed to pay 1.4 million pound of tax on the sale of development rights to land it owned on the outskirts of the city.
The couple sold their beachside villa for a reported 6 million pound - and 72 luxury flats were built there, now worth 2 million pound each.
The extension of the Connery probe comes less than a month after he was reportedly ordered to pay 2.75 million pound to a court investigating the sale of the Marbella villa, called Malibu. (ANI)
