London, July 3(ANI): Twilight fans expressed their anger over the absence of the franchise's stars from the London premiere of the latest vampire movie by sporting specially-made t-shirts and holding up banners to protest the snub.
No official reasons were given for Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner's absence from the premiere of 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' in Britain.
The launch of the movie went ahead without the three actors, who filmed a video message for their followers instead.
A string of Twilight's less high-profile stars, however, did walk the red carpet, including Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed, who told reporters that Pattinson was unable to fly to London because he's busy filming new movie 'Water for Elephants' in California.
"I know Rob would have loved to have been here, but he's shooting a movie in L.A. and I don't think he was allowed to come," the Daily Star quoted her as saying. (ANI)
