London, July 3 (ANI): Mel Gibson's film career seems to be in danger after he allegedly spouted vile racist abuse at his ex-lover.
Hollywood bosses say that his outburst against Oksana Grigorieva - the mum of his child - make him 'a pariah' while civil rights and women's groups have called for a boycott of his movies.
"Last time he just managed to claw back his career. This time he will be a pariah," the Mirror quoted one studio boss as saying.
"He offended not only women but a huge swathe of the public. Any Hollywood exec will fear a backlash if they use him," he added.
Leon Jenkins, president of the Los Angeles branch of civil rights group NAACP, said: "An apology is insufficient given his history of racism, sexism and anti-Semitism. No words will change his image as an out-of-control racist."
Even Pop culture expert Peter Shankman added, "Second time? Same venom? It will be a lot harder for him in Hollywood." (ANI)
