Dambulla, June 21 (ANI): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced two separate teams for the forthcoming T20 and Test series in England, and neither of the two squads has former skipper Younis Khan in them, who was seem as a certainty for the exhausting tour following the removal of the 'indefinite' ban imposed on him.
The one-day squad would be announced later.
Surprisingly, the Pakistani selectors have recalled right hand batsman Yasir Hameed, who last played a Test match in 2007 against India, to replace Younis, The Dawn reports.
Maverick fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has been included in the T20 squad, while leg spinner Danish Kaneria, who is under investigation for alleged match-fixing in a county match, has been included in the Test squad.
Pakistan will play two T20 internationals and a couple of Test matches against Australia, and would then face the hosts England in four Tests, two T20 and five one-day games during the three-month long tour which end on September 22.
