London, June 19 (ANI): Supermodel Naomi Campbell paid a video tribute to Nelson Mandela's great granddaughter, Zenani, at her funeral.
The catwalk queen recorded a touching video message to honour Zenani, who died a day after her 13th birthday in a car accident.
Nelson Mandela along with his ex-wife Winnie turned out for the youngster's funeral service in Johannesburg followed by a private burial service.
Many relatives gave readings at the moving service and Campbell's specially recorded message was played to the chapel congregation at St Stithian's College.
Campbell, who became close to Mandela in the 1990s, recalled memories of playing with Zenani, whom she considered like a god-daughter.
"I was truly blessed to have been able to say that we walked and laughed and got to play dress-up. She will remain in my heart forever," the Daily Express quoted her as saying. (ANI)
