London, June 19 (ANI): Bond legend Sir Sean Connery was honoured when he returned to his native Edinburgh, Scotland, to see a plaque unveiled on the site of his former home.
The legendary actor was back in the Fountainbridge area of the city, visiting the street where he was born in 1930.
In Connery's honour, the plaque has been positioned on a new housing development and has been built on the site of his former family residence.
Crowds of locals took to the streets to welcome the actor home.
Connery, who has been living in the Bahamas for the last three decades, admitted that he struggled to recognise the streets because the area has changed so much.
"I'm lost walking around here. I look forward to the whole thing (construction in the area) to be finished," the Daily Star him as telling the Daily Record. (ANI)
