New Delhi, April 25 (ANI): Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports M. S. Gill, on Sunday inaugurated the newly constructed wrestling stadium in the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex here.

I doubt that many countries would have it. I trust we are going to have a test event in a week's time," said M S Gill, India's federal Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports.
The 6,000-seater state-of-the-art venue has been built at a cost of Rs 1.2 billion and has a built-up area of 22,350 square metres.
The stadium is equipped with environment-friendly features like thermal insulation of the entire roof, gypsum board partitions and wall paneling, external glazing with low energy tinted glasses and energy-efficient lighting fixtures.
The entire stadium will be under electronic surveillance through fixed and PTZ (Pan, Tilt, and Zoom) cameras connected to a central control room, which will have an integrated network for connecting various facilities, to meet the operational requirement of the Games. (ANI)
