Liz Taylor's heart still belongs to Richard Burton

London, Apr 18 (ANI): Trashing rumors of an impending marriage number nine, Hollywood legend Dame Elizabeth Taylor has apparently said that her heart still belongs to Richard Burton.

Communicating with her fans via Twitter, the 78-year-old double Oscar-winning actress revealed that stories she is engaged to her manager Jason Winters, 50, were bogus.

Ailing Dame Elizabeth wrote: "The rumours regarding my engagement simply aren't true.

"Jason is my manager and dearest friend. I love him with all my heart."

Previously, the Sunday Express had revealed that the actress was refusing further surgery despite crippling back and neck pain.

A close source said: "If it wasn't for Jason she might have given up completely.

"They have been close for many years but over the past 24 months or so he really has become her rock.

"On the very rare occasions that she goes out now, Jason is the one pushing her wheelchair. He's at her Bel Air home virtually every day; just hanging with her and being there in case she needs anything. It was Jason who consoled her last year when Michael Jackson died.

"She has found a lot of comfort in Jason. But marriage? I happen to know they both think the reports are hilarious. In fact, Liz is kind of flattered. But, I promise, it's a definite no-no."

According to a new book, she still regards Burton, the man she tied the knot with twice, as her soulmate.

Her recollections are revealed in a biography of the late Welsh actor, Prince Of Players, by Michael Munn, who says: "Despite their famous rows, I know Liz will always have a special place in her heart for Richard.

"You only had to see them together to know that they were soulmates and that kind of bond is hard to break, even after death." (ANI)
