Rampaging baboons in South Africa can be a menace for England fans

London, Mon, 12 Apr 2010 ANI

London, Apr 12 (ANI): Packs of rampaging baboons in South Africa can be a menace for visiting England football fans during the World Cup.

The fearsome animals, a protected species in South Africa, are targeting tourists by jumping through car and apartment windows and making off with food and possessions.

They have even learned how to open car doors. And experts fear Three Lions fans will provide rich pickings for the primates, the Daily Express reports.

Dr Justin O'Riain, of Cape Town University, warned last night: "People who stop the car are going to get raided." (ANI)
