London, April 7 (ANI): A number of celebrities have posed in the buff for Give Up Clothes for Good campaign.

The stars included Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli, his colleague Camilla Dallerup, Watchdog presenter Julia Bradbury and Live From Studio Five host Kate Walsh.

Others who took part were football star Sol Campbell, actor Christopher Biggins, former Atomic Kitten star Liz McLarnon, Channel 4's A Place In The Sun host Jasmine Harman, former EastEnders actress Lucy Benjamin and cricketer Jimmy Anderson.

The photos, which were shot in black and white, are being released in a bid to get members of the public to clear their wardrobes to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

"I really enjoyed taking part in this shoot and was glad to Give Up Clothes for Good to help Cancer Research UK beat childhood cancer," Sky News quoted Tonioli as saying.

"I hope everyone else feels the same and I encourage the nation to open up those closets; reach for those hidden marvels, and donate your fabulous items of clothing and homeware to TK Maxx and HomeSense stores," he added.

The Give Up Clothes for Good campaign is a nationwide clothing and homeware collection scheme, with proceeds going to the fight against childhood cancers.

The campaign, which runs to April 25, has been held every other year since 2004 and is supported by discount retailers TK Maxx and HomeSense.

Free donation bags will be available at branches of both stores, but all other bags are welcome. Each filled bag could be worth up to 30 pounds to the charity.

In 2008 the campaign raised 3.2 million pounds worth of donations for the charity's life-saving research, with organisers hoping to beat that total this year. (ANI)
