New Delhi, Mar 29 (ANI): Paying tribute to the Roman Goddess of the Dawn, Aurora, designer Siddhartha Tytler's creations on the fourth day of the ongoing 15th edition of Wills India Fashion Week (WIFW) Autumn-Winter 2010 here, was tinted in shades of peacock, copper, gun metal and black.

Bringing to the fore a refreshing insight into his collection, Tytler's collection, 'Aboriginal-The Aurora Borealis' was inspired by the 'Dance of the Spirits'.

"Basically it was 'Aurora Borealis', which was my collection's inspiration. It was an amazing collection; a difficult collection. It was something we have never done before. All the technology we used were very difficult, it was challenging but it was good," said Tytler.

With models donning a chunky and tribal look on the ramp, the songs of Madonna-"The God of Music" set the mood for the day.

"The colour palette was aurora borealis, so we used peacock shades; we used dark and light shades of peacock colour. We also used gun metal to highlight the colours and we used a lot of blacks, silvers and copper colours," said Tytler.

The WIFW-AW 2010, hosted by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), witnesses the participation of 130 designers, 75 of them also presenting shows and among whom 19 are debutants.

The fashion extravaganza features 43 shows. (ANI)
