London, Mar 9 (ANI): The Liverpool football club secretary, who had an affair with Chelsea star Ashley Cole, has lost her job.
Vicki Gough, 30, left the Premier League giants "by mutual consent", with insiders revealing that the move came after WAGs kicked off about her continued presence at the Merseyside club following the revelations.
"Vicki's employment has ended by mutual consent between the club and her," the Daily Star quoted Liverpool spokesman Ian Cotton as saying.
"We wish her well in her future career," he said.
Four weeks before her fling with Cole was exposed, Gough was caught dating married Blackburn Rovers striker El-Hadji Diouf, and she was linked to a third Premier League player in a previous job at Birmingham City.
But it was her revelations about her relationship with Cole, 29, which led to his separation from his X Factor judge wife Cheryl, 26.
"It's good riddance as far as we're concerned," a pal of one Liverpool WAG said.
"She'd bomb about in a little black Audi TT with a rude number plate, all blonde hair and legs up to her armpits. It didn't seem to stop her," the pal added.
Gough is one of five women he is alleged to have cheated with during his five years with the Girls Aloud beauty. (ANI)
