London, Mar.8 (ANI): Kent off-spinner James Tredwell bagged 6-95 to help skittle Bangladesh A for 202 on day one of a three-day warm-up match.

England was reduced to 68-3 by the close, with Pietersen out for two.

While Tredwell has created some selection a problem ahead of the first Test against Bangladesh with his performance, KP's form with the bat continues to be woeful, The Sun reports.

With scores of 0, 6, 1, 18, 22 and 2 so far on tour, Pietersen's form is becoming a serious concern for the selectors as they toy with the idea of playing just six batsmen.

They are also sweating on back injuries to Stuart Broad and Graham Onions but at least have one headache solved in the shape of Tredwell.

The 28-year-old will now surely make his Test debut and form a two-man off-spin attack with Graeme Swann - something he believes can work well.

Tredwell said: "It has gone pretty well for me and I think I'm in contention now. There are fewer and fewer lead-up games to internationals these days, so to perform in this one is decent. I don't think it matters me and Swanny both bowl off-spin."

Middlesex youngster Steven Finn pushed his claims, with the 6ft 7in hopeful snaring 2-13 from his seven overs. (ANI)
